Electrical Engineering Major

I joined SASE about four and a half years ago and during the first GBM, I really wanted to be part of the SASE family. I identified with the club’s mission as I also sought to develop myself professionally, but also as an Asian American. The members and eboard seemed very friendly and bright, and encouraged me to become involved.
I signed up for that year’s Southeast Regional Conference and became a member of the Finance Committee. I saw significant growth in my professionalism, prompting me to not only stay with SASE but to also move onto the treasurer position. When UF was given the opportunity to host the Regional Conference again for the third year in a row, I immediately sought out and became the Finance Director. Since then I’ve been a part of the quick race committee, the fundraising committee as well as volunteering to be a National Conference volunteer 2 years in a row. Currently I am the 2017-2018 External Vice President.
My current hobbies are to work on my computer and my car, tinkering around with my 3D printer, reading, hiking, and mostly experiencing new cultures and food by traveling.
